  • Mary Sue Lux D.V.M.

Hi, I am Dr. Mary Sue Lux. I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and received my veterinary degree in 1986 from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. I am the owner of the Westosha Veterinary Hospital. My husband Mark owns and operates the Paris Pet Crematory, helping our clients at the end of their pet's life.

I really love veterinary medicine and taking care of all of your pets. Over the years I have met so many wonderful and caring pet owners that really have also become my friends. I enjoy working up medical cases and performing surgery. I have extra experience working greyhounds and whippets. I am proud  of our dental program and our digital radiology center.

My life is full and busy these days with a menagerie of four dogs, Indy, Squirt, Jackson and Czarsky, two cats, Cicely, Jeremy, and two horses, Tari and Fire. My husband  Mark, and I have three children, D'Angelo, Todora and David. I am  happy to show off pictures of them anytime! We enjoy hiking, swimming, biking and when I can, I like to relax with a good novel.

Westosha Veterinary Hospital is a compassionate "family" of animal care givers. We are all here to help you and your beloved pets.

Hello! I am Dr. Jen Thelen. I have been with Westosha Veterinary Hospital since June of 1999.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving my docterate in Veterinary Medicine.  I completed my undergraduate studies in Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.  I enjoy many aspects of veterinary medicine and have a  strong interest in ultrasound, internal medicine and dermatology.

I grew up on a beef farm in Shawano, Wisconsin, which is about 3 hours north of Salem.  I have 2 sisters, 3 nephews and a niece. I was married in December of 2002 to Brett Osgood.  He is a small animal veterinarian practicing in Milwaukee.  We are blseed with two wild little boys, Jack and Luke.  Together we share our lives with a Bullmastiff named Maggie and our two tuxedo cats, Tyler and Dupa.   I miss having a horse in the area since one of my favorite pass times is riding.  I also love to read, garden and spend as much time as possible outdoors.

I hope to see you soon at the clinic.  You will find we are all very passionate about animals and strive to ensure your pets health and well being.
